Our Origins

Who We Are

The Fundamental Rights Club is a student-led organization under the Wachemo University School of Law. Established on 16 March 2024 (G.C.), the club was founded by a group of dedicated law students who recognized the importance of promoting human rights, legal awareness, and community engagement both within and beyond the university.

Since its establishment, the club has served as a platform for students to apply their legal knowledge through practical initiatives that benefit society while developing leadership, teamwork, and advocacy skills.

Our Story

The establishment of the Fundamental Rights Club marked an important step toward strengthening the culture of human rights and public service at Wachemo University.

Guided by the belief that law should serve society, the club has worked to connect students with the community through meaningful activities and collaborative initiatives. Over time, the club has continued to grow by encouraging active student participation, building partnerships with relevant institutions, and creating opportunities for members to contribute to the promotion of justice and the rule of law.
